Fly Fishing with Smoky Mountain Guides
When you go on a trip with SMG, you will be greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable guide that wants to serve you well. That is our goal. While our trips focus on beginner level outings, as you express your objectives, we will be sure to aim for accomplishing that.
For a full experience, we recommend meeting at our Townsend headquarters at the Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center.
Preparation
Your guide will be in touch prior to your trip to make sure that is not out of the way for you and if it is, you will meet at a more convenient location.
Your guide will discuss what to bring and your goals for the experience. We spend a short amount of time in a field practicing the cast before hitting the waters.
What we offer

$100 for the additional person on either trip

For trips: Please arrive at Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center unless otherwise discussed. The address is as follows: 7142 East Lamar Alexander Parkway, Townsend, TN 37882.
Trip Recommendations
We encourage you to plan to arrive for fitting and browsing atlas 15 minutes prior to trip time. We also will be contacting you before your trip to recommend other meeting locations that are more convenient to you when necessary. Please bring a set of clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and possible an extra layer to change into after our day. You will be provided with all necessary equipment to have an enjoying time on the banks and in the water as you prefer. We recommend bringing snacks and water but your guide will have these items if you forget as well.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel outside of 48 hours you will a total refund. Anything inside 48 hours can be rescheduled or you receive a 50% refund. Please know as a small business we will try everything we can do to allow you a full refund when possible but our guides plan their schedules out weeks in advance and cancellations sometimes cannot get re-filled.
