Distance: 10 hour trip with 6-8 hours on water and trail

Highlights: We are fully immersed inside the Great Smoky Mountains.  There is ample time to get out of our boats and explore on foot some fascinating history and flora/fauna as we hike short distances as desired.  We indulge in a delicious mountain-style lunch from your guide on an island.  The tour also has an opportunity to walk on the Appalachian Trail and visit the highest dam east of the Mississippi River.
