Urban Escape

Join us on this small group escape in one of the most overlooked southeast cities.  On this journey, we briefly escape the downtown atmosphere for a moment to explore the culture, 4500 acres of parks and natural areas and an abundance of beautiful rivers, lakes, and quarries that make up the Knoxville area.  Your naturalist and interpretive guides will take you to their favorite city escapes and immerse you in short walks to overlooks of the city skyline.  We begin our outing with fresh and locally roasted press coffee as we overlook the city and begin to understand the infrastructure and eclectic architectural development involving land and natural spaces that have been an important emphasis for attracting residents to the area and developing East Tennessee as an adventure destination.
